The shopping season is here! 🛍
And if you’re making your shopping lists, don’t forget to shop local and check out one of Boston Area’s best small businesses.
Here’s a list of some of my favorites:
Blue Hen in Arlington. A woman-owned business that refinishes, restores and repurposes furniture and home decorating items.
Buffalo Exchange in Somerville. This hip chain buys, sells, and trades trendy vintage and used clothing and accessories for men and women.
Brattle Book Shop of Boston. One of America’s Oldest and Largest Antiquarian Book Shops that buys and sells good, used, and rare books!
Magpie in Somerville. A compact shop that specializes in local, handmade crafts including jewelry, cards, stationery, and gifts.
J.P Licks | Multiple Locations around Boston (great for a shopping pick-me-up!). J.P. Licks was founded in Jamaica Plain and now has 17 stores in the Greater Boston area! They serve homemade ice cream, hard yogurt, and coffee.
