Continuous growth throughout the 1970s required a larger showroom to display the ever-expanding brand names available at Poirier. In 1981, they moved into their current location, a 13,000-square-foot facility, still in Norwood at 1015 Washington Street.
In 1999, Poirier opened a second showroom of 3,500-square-feet at 244 Needham Street in Newton, which continues the tradition of personalized attention provided in a world-class showroom.
Poirier’s Norwood showroom currently has a range of custom displays that highlight quality brands, such as Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, and Monogram. The showroom displays feature “live” appliances and give customers the ultimate experience of trying these brands in our place. Access to these luxury brands also differentiates Poirier’s sales offerings from those of large chain and home improvement/lumber outfits.
