Go Pumpkin Picking

Halloween won’t be complete without those spooky jack-o-lanterns adorning everyone’s porches! Might as well make a day, even a weekend out of making them right? Go pumpkin picking in one of the many farms around Boston to get the full experience. There are plenty of options depending on how far you’re willing to drive, or what are other activities you’re looking to do. Take a Stroll in Beacon Hill and Go Trick-or-treating

Let us paint a picture for you. Tree-lined streets, bright and vivid with yellow, orange, and red leaves. Porches filled with pumpkins, fake cobwebs, and ghoulish decorations. Brick-paved sidewalk,  streetlights, the beautifully ornate brownstones. Can it get any more Halloween than Beacon Hill?

Take a stroll and breathe in the chilly autumn air and enjoy the history-filled streets of Beacon Hill. It might even be a good idea to check out what costumes the ducklings are in this year? Talk about the full Boston Halloween experience!

Explore the City's Most Haunted Spots

If you’re willing to drive even farther out then The Berkshires would be the place to go! A 2-3 hour drive from Boston, the mountainous region offers spectacular views of fall. You can even hike a section of the Appalachian trail, climb Mount Greylock, or just drive to the top if you’re feeling a little lazy. Either way, you get to enjoy the best nature in New England has to offer!

While you’re in the Berkshires, make sure to swing by the quaint historical towns and enjoy local shopping and museum hopping. Might as well make a day out of it right?!

Whether you’re only looking for a peaceful getaway or are interested in going for a moderate hike, the Berkshires will not disappoint.
