Cambridge stretches along the river banks on the other side of the sail boats from the Boston skyline. The City of Cambridge, founded as a village “upriver from Boston” in 1630 is today a world center for education, technology companies, and research institutions. While Boston is home to over 100 colleges and universities, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and their respective communities of students, staff, and start ups dominate the culture and economy of Cambridge. Many people who “move to Boston”, are in fact to “moving to Cambridge” for school or a technology job, although, there are in fact, other things to do. Within Cambridge, these people find historic homes and brand new luxury buildings.
